Nirmal Energy Limited Launches Maxothermie® 650 - A High-Temperature Synthetic Heat Transfer Fluid for Liquid-Phase Thermal Systems
Nirmal Energy Limited today announced the launch of Maxothermie® 650, a synthetic organic heat transfer fluid designed for liquid-phase, closed-loop, forced-circulation heat transfer systems operating across a wide temperature range.Maxothermie® 650 is engineered to deliver reliable thermal performance from cold start-ups down to -32°C and continuous bulk operating temperatures up to 330°C, with a maximum extended use temperature of 350°C and maximum film temperature of 380°C. The fluid operates efficiently without system pressurization, making it suitable for demanding industrial heating applications requiring stability, control, and long service life.
Formulated using dibenzyltoluene chemistry, Maxothermie® 650 combines low viscosity, high boiling point, and excellent thermal stability, enabling consistent heat transfer and reduced degradation when used within recommended limits. Its low-viscosity profile supports improved pumpability and heat transfer efficiency, particularly during cold start-ups and sustained high-temperature operation.

Designed for Long-Term System Reliability
Industry-accepted thermal studies define 330°C as the recommended bulk temperature limit, allowing the fluid to operate continuously for several years in a properly designed and maintained system. Operating above these limits is possible but will significantly reduce fluid lifespan. To preserve fluid integrity, Nirmal Energy recommends inert gas blanketing to minimize oxidation and routine in-service fluid analysis to monitor viscosity, degradation by-products, and moisture levels.
Maxothermie® 650 is compatible with commonly used metals in heat transfer system construction and is suitable for applications across chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, food processing, plastics, specialty manufacturing, and engineered heating systems.
Technical Support Beyond the Fluid
In addition to product supply, Nirmal Energy offers system design guidance, operational training, safety awareness programs, and laboratory analysis of in-service heat transfer fluids. These services help customers extend fluid life, reduce unplanned downtime, and maintain safe system operation over extended periods.
