Planned PEThood of Georgia Unveils 2025 Impact Report, Celebrates 15 Years of Saving Lives

Duluth, GA - January 2026 - Planned PEThood of Georgia, a 501(c)(3) animal welfare nonprofit, has released its 2025 Impact Report, showcasing a milestone year defined by powerful partnerships, expanded access to care, and lifesaving results for thousands of cats and dogs.

In 2025, the organization proudly celebrated 15 years of service and marked the occasion with a historic achievement: 100,000 spay/neuter surgeries performed at its Duluth nonprofit veterinary clinic since opening in 2010. This milestone underscores Planned PEThood's unwavering commitment to prevention, community support, and compassionate care.

2025: A Year of Milestones and Measurable Impact

In a year marked by growth and innovation, Planned PEThood delivered essential services to thousands of animals across Georgia. Highlights from the 2025 Impact Report include:

11,204 animals cared for at the nonprofit veterinary clinic

5,759 low-cost spay/neuter surgeries preventing unwanted litters

4,839 wellness appointments providing routine and preventive care

444 cats and kittens adopted

"These numbers represent more than services delivered. They represent suffering prevented, families supported, and lives saved," said CJ Bentley, Chief Executive Officer of Planned PEThood of Georgia. "In 2025, our team, supporters, and partners helped make this one of the most transformative years in our organization's history."

Advancing Programs, Access, and Community Impact

The report outlines several major accomplishments from 2025, including:

Expanding the nonprofit veterinary team to increase appointment availability

Growing humane education programs that empower families with knowledge and resources

Renewal of a multi-year PetSmart Charities Accelerator Grant, strengthening access to affordable, public-facing veterinary services

Looking Ahead: More Access, More Impact, More Lives Saved

Planned PEThood is poised for an even more ambitious 2026. The organization is preparing to launch new mobile spay/neuter services, designed to reduce barriers and deliver care directly to underserved communities statewide.
