Financepixel launched - Online Directory for the financial industry
Bern, Switzerland (CH) - 5. February 2006 - ET Elite Trading AG a service and consulting company located in Switzerland launches the first pixel orientated online directory for the financial industry. The idea behind it was to create a financial online directory that can be navigated in a geographical way. Located at www.financepixel.com Users don't have to go through large lists of links - instead they can click on an image placed on a world map. Financial service providers can easily place their graphical links on the site for a one time fee.The goal is to offer a global overview of financial institutions and small financial service providers. In case this test project finds demand there are plans to offer country specific link maps.
We believe that the future of internet online directories is in more intuitive ways of finding information. With geographical maps in combination with links it is much easier for users to find the required information instead of browsing through huge amounts of text.
