Sipus's relationship with music began far from the club. Raised in Kentucky bluegrass culture, he developed an early sensitivity to rhythm, harmony, and collective listening. From 1998 to 2000, he studied guitar in Cincinnati, Ohio, under Spencer Funk of Wild Carrots, a U.S. Cultural Ambassador, grounding his musicianship in improvisation, folk tradition, and disciplined technique.

In 2004, Sipus traveled to Varanasi, India, where he studied sitar, deepening his understanding of modal systems, cyclical time, and music as a meditative, embodied practice. Later, from 2008 to 2010, he produced hip-hop with sub-Saharan African refugees in Cairo, Egypt, supporting inter-gang violence reduction initiatives backed by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). That work centered music not as performance, but as connection - a shared emotional language under pressure.

The track is built with technical precision and restraint: resonant 808 bass lines engineered to move the body, vintage Bollywood vocal and instrumental fragments treated as emotional texture rather than ornament, and modern synthesizers sculpted to evolve slowly over time.
