the portal Kreuzfahrttester.com is repositioning itself in terms of content and editorial standards. In future, the clear focus will be on well-founded test reports, ratings and critical analysis of cruise products, services and processes - supplemented, but no longer dominated, by classic travel reports and picture series.

"Der Kreuzfahrttester" has been operated editorially since 1999 through various blogs and websites on the subject of cruises. The platform www.kreuzfahrttester.com is therefore one of the oldest continuously operated cruise blogs in the German-speaking world.

Editor-in-chief and owner Claus Blohm is considered one of the most experienced independent cruise testers on the market, having spent well over 5,000 nights on board a wide variety of ocean-going and expedition ships. In addition to publicly accessible travel and test reports, internal, confidential test analyses have also been produced for many years, some of which are commissioned directly by shipping companies or service providers and are not intended for publication.

In practice, these test reports often serve as a basis for decisions on product adjustments, service optimizations and new on-board standards. Not only ships, cabins, gastronomy or entertainment are evaluated, but also ancillary services along the entire travel chain - from arrival and departure to parking and transfer services to organizational processes before and after the cruise.

Kreuzfahrttester.com is present on the usual social media platforms and uses these channels to support its reach and disseminate topics. At the same time, the editorial team is aware that short-format content such as reels, stories or TikTok shorts can be implemented faster, louder and with greater reach by specialized, often younger content creators.

The editorial strategy of Kreuzfahrttester.com therefore deliberately pursues a different approach: less algorithm-driven short formats and more sustainable content with substance, comparability and long-term impact. The focus is not on staging, but on classification, evaluation and critical analysis - especially where social media reaches its content limits.

With the realignment, Kreuzfahrttester.com is clearly positioning itself as an independent testing, analysis and evaluation portal for the cruise industry. The aim is to provide shipping companies, tour operators and service providers with reliable, practical and honest feedback from the perspective of a very experienced frequent traveler - beyond marketing promises, trend formats and short-term attention.

For press managers, product managers and quality departments, the portal thus offers a clear editorial interface between operational practice on board and external perception in the market.

We will be happy to provide further information, references and opportunities for cooperation on request.

Kreuzfahrttester.com is one of the oldest independent editorial cruise portals in the German-speaking world. Since 1999, the platform has continuously reported on ocean, river and expedition cruises and has clearly positioned itself as a test and evaluation portal.

The focus is on well-founded test reports, structured evaluations and critical analyses of ships, on-board offers and services along the entire travel chain. Classic travel reports and photo galleries remain part of the offering, but are no longer the focus of the editorial work.

Publisher and editor-in-chief Claus Blohm has spent more than 5,000 nights on board a wide variety of cruise ships. In addition to publicly accessible content, Kreuzfahrttester.com has also been producing internal, confidential test reports for many years, which are commissioned by shipping companies and service providers and serve as a basis for quality and product optimization.

Social media is used to support reach, but the editorial focus is deliberately on content with depth, comparability and sustainable added value. Kreuzfahrttester.com sees itself as an independent, critical authority between the cruise industry, media and decision-makers.
