(Erlangen, December 2025) ParkRaum-Management PRM GmbH, one of the leading providers of digital parking solutions in German-speaking countries, can look back on a successful financial year 2025. The company has grown strongly in operational terms, increased the number of managed parking spaces to more than 45,000 and now records around 600,000 parking transactions every day in more than 450 parking spaces. With more than 30 years of experience, PRM is considered a pioneer of barrier-free free-flow parking in Germany and was one of the first providers to introduce this innovative, data protection-compliant technology on a large scale. Klaus Gumpp, Managing Director of PRM: "2025 has shown that our consistent focus on end-to-end digital, user-friendly and economical parking solutions is in high demand on the market. We are delighted that we have been able to greatly expand our presence and have completed numerous new flagship projects."

PRM continued to grow both in the lease model and in the service model for municipalities, municipal utilities, project developers, clinic operators, retail chains and real estate companies. The company works closely with established partners in the fields of project development and asset management. Particular highlight projects in 2025 included the technical equipment and operation of the Europabr?cke mobility hub in Constance with 750 parking spaces on 17 mezzanines and the electrification of the Pl?rrer multi-storey parking lot in Nuremberg, one of the most important parking garages in the Franconian metropolis. Both facilities use PRM's innovative free-flow system, which enables ticketless, contactless and simple parking.

The future of parking - today

PRM presented the future of parking at the industry's leading trade fair PARKEN in the summer. The company presented its fully networked parking ecosystem, which is an impressive all-in-one solution consisting of camera surveillance, barrier-free parking machines and a modern app. Numerous renowned clients are already benefiting from the Erlangen-based company's expertise, including Deutsche Post, DB, REWE, ALDI S?D, MEDIAN Kliniken and Fressnapf. This diversity underlines PRM's cross-industry focus - from retail to clinics and from educational institutions to local authorities and tourism. Klaus Gumpp: "Our recipe for success is that we do not implement one-size-fits-all solutions, but always respond individually to the special requirements of our clients in order to ensure the satisfaction of their parking customers and at the same time optimal capacity utilization and sales development." In this way, the company manages more than 30 million customer interactions per month.

Big goals for 2026

In the coming year, PRM plans to further advance the digitalization of its products and at the same time tap into additional sources of revenue for its clients. The focus will be on the comprehensive expansion of real-time occupancy data and sensor technology for even more precise utilization control, the further development of mobility hubs with seamless connections to public transport, car-sharing and bicycle services as well as the introduction of dynamic tariff models and predictive pricing systems. In addition, target group-specific advertising and additional offers are to be integrated directly into the PRM app, at ticket machines and on digital information screens. These measures are intended to make even more efficient use of existing spaces and significantly increase operators' revenues. At the same time, PRM will further reduce the already short time it takes to commission new systems - currently often less than four weeks, including contract negotiations, design and technical implementation - and expand its market presence in Germany in a targeted manner, particularly with large retail, hospital and real estate customers. Klaus Gumpp: "Our aim is not just to manage parking space, but to manage it as a genuine, data-based asset and make it more profitable for our customers in the long term!"
