Histamine intolerance: without findings and comma - no pure food intolerance

Today, shortly before Christmas, the YouTube channel of the medical non-fiction and guidebook "Histamine intolerance: without findings and commas - no pure food intolerance - symptoms, causes, diagnostics, therapy and nutrition" by Silke Haas was launched.

In this book, the specialist in general medicine deals with the very diverse histamine intolerance. It is more than just a food intolerance, as it is not only food that causes symptoms, but also other products, infections and various other circumstances.

In addition, the comprehensive symptoms have a considerable range in terms of their severity, from rather subliminal to extremely distressing. Sometimes only foods with a high histamine content need to be avoided. In other cases, almost any food triggers severe symptoms because the reaction is not only to foods containing histamine, but also to foods that release histamine.

In the course of the guidebook, the broad range of symptoms and the developmental pathways with many causes of histamine intolerance as well as the respective diagnostic steps and treatment options - cause-related and cause-independent - are explained. This is followed by a very detailed and very practical guide with tips on choosing foods, food supplements and relevant everyday and situational products (drugstore, household, living room and renovation items) that can play a decisive role due to their histamine-releasing effect.

In addition, all other intolerances, such as to lactose, fructose, sorbitol, gluten, wheat, salicylates, serotonin and tyramine, are discussed, as these often occur together with a histamine intolerance or are similar due to the same symptoms.
