Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - December 2024 - Instructors from KARVE Jeddah, the women-only Transformer Pilates studio, have led classes at the brand's London locations, marking a milestone for Saudi Arabia's growing fitness and wellness industry.

Lojain Alrefae, a Saudi national and certified KARVE instructor, taught at KARVE Kensington in October, while fellow Jeddah instructor Samar led sessions at KARVE Chelsea in early December. The appearances represent a notable reversal of the typical fitness industry pattern, with Saudi-based talent now contributing to programming at the brand's UK flagship studios.

"When we opened in Jeddah last year, we brought the KARVE method from London to Saudi Arabia," said a studio representative. "Now our instructors are teaching in London. That says something about the caliber of talent we're developing here."

KARVE, founded in London in 2021, operates Transformer Pilates studios internationally. The brand's signature 50-minute classes combine low-impact Pilates principles with strength training, emphasizing mind-body connection over appearance-based fitness goals. The Jeddah studio opened in September 2024 as the brand's first location in Saudi Arabia.

The instructor exchange comes as demand for premium wellness experiences continues to grow in the Kingdom, aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 focus on health, quality of life, and women's participation in sports and fitness.

Alrefae has also represented KARVE at exclusive wellness events in Riyadh, including a recent collaboration with a luxury automotive brand, further establishing the studio's presence in the Kingdom's premium lifestyle space.

KARVE Jeddah offers small group Transformer Pilates classes for women, with certified instructors, upscale amenities, and a café. The studio is located on Prince Sultan Street in Ar Rawdah, Jeddah.
