Smartphone storage at schools: WardHUB introduces new security system

With the 2025/2026 school year, numerous federal states have introduced new regulations on smartphone use.
Hesse, Bremen and Schleswig-Holstein are already imposing a far-reaching ban on use, while other states such as Saxony and Bavaria are preparing to tighten the rules.

The increasing use of smartphones in everyday school life is leading to debates throughout Germany. The devices are kept exclusively by the students themselves. This completely eliminates the role of "device management" in the classroom, which is often perceived as a burden.
