Six Maryland Animal Rescues Join Forces to Host Adoption Event and Holiday Paw-ty on December 7

Six Maryland-based rescues will join forces to host a community Holiday Paw-ty and Adoption Event on December 7th. Maryland SPCA, Humane Rescue Alliance, Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland, Furever Home Animal Rescue, Saving Grace Animal Rescue, and Senior Dog Sanctuary will all bring adoptable dogs to meet prospective adopters.

The 2025 Holiday Pawty & Adoption Event (https://beaglemaryland.org/holiday25/) will be a howling good time, and perhaps the biggest adoption event of the year. The holidays are all about community, and what better way to celebrate than by supporting multiple rescues at once?! Community members are invited to bring their furry family members to the party, which includes:

🐶 Adoptable dogs from six dog rescues (including PUPPIES!!!)

"After our 'Beagle Bash' drew hundreds of attendees and was a huge hit on WBAL-TV 11 (https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1A1xUFaHjj), it was clear that there was significant community interest in another event," said Paige Glidden, a volunteer for Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland. "We were thrilled that so many other incredible rescues wanted to partner with us. This event is the perfect opportunity to bookend the year with fellow animal lovers - and help dogs in need find homes for the holidays."

The holidays are one of the hardest and most challenging time for animal rescues and bringing awareness to our organizations is the best gift you could give.

Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland is dedicated to saving beagles and placing them in loving homes. We have saved more than 2,600+ beagles since 2001. Our beagles come in as strays, from shelters, and as owner surrenders. Some only need current vaccinations, regular meals, and love, but we prioritize taking in dogs that need extensive care, nutritional support, or lifesaving surgery before they are ready to be adopted.

Saving Grace Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue. It is our mission to end the neglect of animals across the east coast by rescuing them and helping find their forever home. We want to save the lives of pets and enhance the lives of people by finding the perfect new fur-baby for each family!

Senior Dog Sanctuary provides a safe haven for senior dogs who cannot be cared for by their owners, are abandoned or abused, or face euthanasia. Our sanctuary has provided a safe, loving home for over 900 dogs since 2016. Our staff and volunteers supply residents with expert-level care and rehabilitation until they are adopted. We also provide long-term homes to seniors who aren't currently adoptable.
