She joined the band in her middle and junior high years as well. KD mastered the art of performing years ago while creating competitive majorette-style choreography in high school. She has always been into music, poetry, and general entertainment since her adolescence.
Growing up in a household of four, KD's dad kept her and her siblings exposed to music, while her mom kept them knowledgeable about the world outside of their small town. Inspired by artists like J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Amy Winehouse, The Isley Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, and Lil Kim, you can see how she has mixed up all of their talents and made her own style that's capturing audiences everywhere. KD has recently performed in front of thousands at the 2025 Florida Classic and has also graced the same stage as YK Niece with explosive performances at both.
