,,What else can fashion be?" 57. INNATEX: DESIGN DISCOVERIES evolve into the EVOLUTION STAGE
Frankfurt am Main, 13. November 2025 - From 17 to 19 January 2026, INNATEX focuses on the deliberate evolution of sustainable fashion. Against the backdrop of changing market conditions, the 57th International Trade Fair for Sustainable Textiles explores how fashion companies must evolve today to stay future-ready. With contemporary formats and relevant impulses, the fair in Hofheim-Wallau near Frankfurt am Main addresses the real challenges facing the industry.A new chapter begins in the fair's support of emerging labels: the renowned DESIGN DISCOVERIES turn into INNATEX Evolution Stage - Shaping Tomorrow's Fashion. Curated by designer Jonathan Radetz, the project presents brands that combine design, material innovation and responsibility. The area in the foyer is staged as a concept store.
"For years, the DESIGN DISCOVERIES have been a well-established feature, attracting interest from both visitors and the media," says Alexander Hitzel, INNATEX Project Director. "It is time to take the next step. With the Evolution Stage, we realise a project that brings together many creative minds and unites diversity, collaboration as well as economic viability. We are convinced that using synergies strategically and today is more important than ever."
The accompanying programme also focuses on the current economic situation of Green Fashion. A new format debuts in cooperation with the B2B media brand TextilWirtschaft: the TW Expert Talk. Editor Mara Javorovic discusses market challenges and solutions from a business perspective with a member of the TW Expert Council.
Another highlight is being developed in collaboration with Professor Ilona K?tter and Professor Wilhelm Rinke from AMD Academy of Fashion & Design Wiesbaden. The talk explores future trends and the role of fashion between digital and analogue realities. It shows how technological progress and AI-driven design processes are reshaping consumer behaviour - and what new approaches may emerge as a result.
"We are analogue people living in a digital world," observes Professor Rinke. "We buy fast fashion even though we know better. Between contradictions and opportunities, we ask: What can fashion still be?"
From mid-December 2025, trade visitors will be able to register online free of charge for the 57th INNATEX.
