However Hutchinson Transmission Systems offered a new contribution to the miniaturization of the industrial world.
From now on when someone speaks about "very small" Flexonic® belts, it is no longer about the 190 mm belt length, but about the 120 mm mini-belts!
When the short lengths are combined with the elastic properties of Flexonic®, the result is the ideal product for compact drives.
With the Flexonic® mini-belts the constraints of gears and direct drives disappear.
Indeed, taking into account the flexibility to operate on a diameter of 8mm, reduced distances between pulley shafts (50 mm), and the elastic properties of the tension cords, the Flexonic® mini-belt is adaptable to almost all low power drives (up to 1 kW).
And "what if it revolves quickly and is hot" you ask? No problem: the Flexonic® mini-belts can operate at speeds greater than 20000 rpm and temperatures higher than 100°C.
