Liverpool-based Quickline Logistics expands with launch

Liverpool-based Quickline Logistics has announced the launch of a haulage division, specialising in general and container haulage, to serve customers across the UK. The new division is a key development for the business, which has created a significant presence in the same-day courier market, over the past ten years.

Jon Whiteley has joined as a business partner and director. He brings extensive experience in haulage transport.

Director Andy Martin explains: "We're proud to announce the launch of our new haulage division, which is a natural progression for Quickline Logistics. Jon Whiteley will play a key role in driving this expansion. Our new division reflects Quickline's commitment to reliability, innovation, and customer-first service.

"Jon has more than 30 years' experience in the logistics sector and is well qualified to lead the development of our new haulage service.

"His experience is broad, including as a managing director, running a fleet of 90 trucks, and managing contracts with major blue-chip companies."

The announcement from Quickline follows the recent relocation of their Liverpool headquarters to larger premises. The move underpins their next phase of growth, increasing their capacity, to help meet the evolving needs of clients
across the UK

Jon Whiteley says: "I'm delighted to be joining Quickline at such a pivotal stage in their development. This new haulage division will allow us to expand our services, strengthen our offer, and continue living up to the promise of being 'Always Delivering' for our clients."

Jon adds: "We will focus on container, general and merchant haulage, but can tailor to any logistical need thanks to our extensive experience.

"Our specialised fleet of 10 brand new Iveco trucks will enable us to meet the needs of customers across business sectors, in the UK. Our fleet size is already set to increase, thanks to some early contract wins.

"We have recently expanded our office premises in Liverpool and acquired a two-acre site in Widnes with full 24/7 security."

Andy Martin says: "The launch of our haulage division is an exciting milestone for Quickline. As we approach 10 years in business, we're committed to evolving our services while staying true to what makes us different: innovation, reliability, and putting our customers first."

Quickline Logistics was founded in 2016 by directors Andy Martin and Stephen Doran. The business has built a strong reputation on delivering seamless, stress-free logistics. The addition of haulage services supports the company's mission to simplify supply chains with hassle-free solutions.
