Padel Smash Academy (PSA), the USA's largest and most dynamic padel content brand, announced today it is bringing its first-ever Level 1 Coaching Certification to the region. This landmark program will be hosted at the beautiful SXM Padel Club at the Belair Beach Hotel in St. Maarten (Dutch side). This isn't just a course; it's a foundation for the sport's future in the Caribbean.

From December 5-7, 2025, PSA Owner & CEO Cesc Caceres and Co-Founder/Padel Master Coach Julian Wortelboer will personally lead a 3-day immersive certification. They will train and certify SXM Padel Club's coaches using PSA's internationally recognized methodology, which seamlessly blends intensive on-court instruction, modern theory, and cutting-edge digital learning.
Elevating the Standard: A Modern Approach to Coaching
PSA's Level 1 Coaching Certification features a structured curriculum designed to help players systematically evolve into elite educators. The program guides participants through technical mastery, instructional methodology, and player development, ensuring a clear path from fundamental skills to advanced coaching techniques.
The program highlights include:
* The Shots of Padel: PSA's signature training system, which breaks down 52 fundamental shots with practical, on-court applications and high-performance drills.
* 6 Months of Complimentary Digital Coaching Access: Certified coaches gain immediate entry to PSA's premium online education hub, featuring weekly content uploads, interactive coaching workshops, and tools for continuous professional development.
* Joining a Global Network: Graduates instantly become part of PSA's worldwide community, leading to professional exposure, mentorship, and accelerated advancement opportunities within the international padel ecosystem.
PSA soft-launched this innovative digital coaching platform in 2025, already certifying 35 coaches globally and completing three successful on-site certifications. The full, highly anticipated global launch, featuring industry-leading partners, is scheduled for 2026 worldwide.
