This results in a higher power and torque density, meaning more performance can be extracted from a motor of the same size, or similar performance from a smaller, lighter unit-directly contributing to the L7e's spirited acceleration.
Additionally, the improved design enhances thermal conductivity, allowing the motor to dissipate heat more effectively. This enables sustained performance without overheating and improves long-term reliability. The reduction in AC losses also contributes to higher overall efficiency, extending the vehicle's range. Finally, the technology is known for producing lower levels of electromagnetic noise (NVH), resulting in the quiet and smooth operation that Linktour emphasizes as key to a calm driving experience.
