China's vast market is becoming a hub for global innovation, and 461 new products, technologies, and services are making their debut at this year's CIIE. This dynamism is further evidenced by the event's historical data: approximately 3,000 innovative showcases, more than 23,000 overseas exhibitors, and a cumulative intended transaction volume surpassing $500 billion.

For international companies, China offers not just a market, but a fast-paced ecosystem where new technologies rapidly find diverse applications. Frank Meng, Chairman of Qualcomm China, illustrated this point, noting that the CIIE has chronicled the full arc of the company's technology-from the early display of a 5G test platform before global commercialization to its current products and the ongoing evolution from 5G-Advanced toward 6G.

Furthermore, China's dual-carbon goals unlock massive opportunities, creating a large-scale testing ground for global green technologies. Echoing this trend, Sony emphasizes sustainability in its manufacturing. "Many technologies Sony has showcased at the CIIE have gained significant traction and are steadily becoming commercial reality," said Takeshi Yoshida, President of Sony China. Originally anticipating a three- to five-year timeline to establish a foothold in China, the company instead saw its products reach major import supermarkets and pharmacies across the country in just eight to nine months.

"The CIIE makes it significantly faster to turn exhibits into commodities," said Sun Ronglong, COO of Nippon Paint China. Following the global debut of its photocatalytic purification coating at last year's CIIE, the company has begun production line setup at its plant in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong province, with operations scheduled to start by year-end and scaled market applications planned for next year. "We have experienced the 'CIIE effect' firsthand and are more convinced than ever: investing in China is investing in the future," Sun stated.
