Hunan Rika Electronic Tech Co., Ltd, a leading weather station and environmental sensor manufacturer for over 15 years, introduces the RK500-12 pH Sensor Series, advanced pH sensors designed for accuracy, stability, and long-term reliability across agriculture, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, chemical industry, printing and dyeing, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, electroplating, water conservancy, and environmental protection.

A Versatile and Reliable pH Measurement Solution

The RK500-12 pH Sensor measures pH values in liquids with simple operation and without requiring a professional calibration instrument. It supports continuous pH monitoring in conventional water, industrial water, seawater, nutrient solutions, river water, and industrial wastewater.

It operates within a pH range of 0-14, with 0.01 pH resolution, plus-minus 0.01 pH accuracy, and a response time of 8-10 seconds (98% in flowing liquid, depending on model). The sensor features thermal resistance temperature compensation, a power supply range of 7-30 VDC (< 0.15 W), and dual output formats (RS485 & 4-20 mA) within a fully IP68-rated waterproof housing.

The RK500-12 pH Sensor features a low-impedance sensitive glass film that ensures precise measurements, with built-in temperature compensation for enhanced thermal stability. The electrode is not easily hydrolyzed, effectively eliminating alkali errors, while the internal signal isolation provides strong anti-interference performance.

Designed for wide power compatibility from 7-30 VDC, the sensor offers low drift, compact size, and fast response speed. Its stable performance, long service life, and easy electrode replacement make it a reliable and user-friendly solution for continuous pH monitoring in demanding environments.

Electrode Maintenance

When not in use, the probe should be soaked in 3 mol/L KCl or saturated KCl solution. Do not immerse the electrode in distilled, deionized, or very low-ion tap water.

If contaminated with inorganic substances: clean with 0.1 mol/L HCl or NaOH for several minutes, then rinse with distilled water.

If contaminated with organic matter: clean with alcohol or acetone, then rinse with distilled water.

Depending on the work environment, clean the electrodes with tap water every 3 - 6 months. (Remove the protective cap before use.)

Installation & Fixing

Installation options include immersion, sidewall mounting, top mounting, pipe installation, top-plug installation, and flow-channel installation, with an optional installation bracket (length = 1 m) and NPT 3/4 installation thread.

Precautions: Keep the probe above sediment level and perform regular cleaning for recessed installations to prevent fouling or deposits. Avoid non-uniform or variable insertion depths, as they affect measurement accuracy.
