Wood & Wire Announces Entry to the 2025 Northern Design Awards Following Three-Time Winning Streak

Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire - Independent furniture and kitchen design studio Wood & Wire is proud to announce its entry into the 2025 Northern Design Awards, marking another step in its journey as one of the North's most distinctive voices in bespoke British design.

Known for its signature plywood kitchens and modernist aesthetic, Wood & Wire has previously taken home three Northern Design Awards, earning recognition for excellence in craftsmanship, originality, and sustainable design.

Founded in 2009 by Jim Leach and Tim Shillitoe, Wood & Wire designs and hand-makes every kitchen and piece of furniture in its Hebden Bridge workshop, combining traditional joinery techniques with a bold, contemporary style rooted in mid-century and Scandinavian influences.
