Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority National Education Fund, Inc. (NEF) Joins Tennessee State University in Celebrating Dr. Katie K. White for Over 30 Years of Distinguished Service and Lifetime Achievement
Dr. White, the 17th International Grand Basileus of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., was honored during a special tribute and dedication ceremony on October 17, 2025, at Tennessee State University (TSU) in Nashville, Tennessee. The event marked the unveiling of the Sigma Gamma Rho Monument on the campus, a historic milestone commemorating the Sorority's legacy and contributions to higher education, culture, and community uplift.
This momentous occasion was hosted by the Southeastern Region of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., in proud partnership with the Royal Heritage Affinity Chapter of the Tennessee State University National Alumni Association. The ceremony celebrated Dr. White's transformative leadership and her lifelong dedication to empowering others through education and service - values deeply aligned with the mission of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority National Education Fund, Inc.
"Dr. White's commitment to the mission of the NEF and to the advancement of education for all is a testament to her vision and heart for service," said Juanita S. Love, President & CEO of SGRNEF.
