Generation WOW Jacksonville Celebrates 13 Years of Inspiring

GENERATION WOW CELEBRATES 13 YEARS OF INSPIRING GIRLS AND BUILDING FUTURES IN JACKSONVILLE
November 7, 2025 | University of North Florida | 1 - 5 PM
Jacksonville, FL - Generation W proudly announces the 13th annual Generation WOW, an event that celebrates inspiring girls and building futures. The event will take place Friday, November 7, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The University of North Florida, at the Andrew a Robinson Jr. Theater.
This year's event will welcome more than 600 inspiring WOW girls and 100 mentors from across Northeast Florida for an afternoon filled with storytelling, learning, and the power of connection. Throughout the afternoon, participants will take part in a dynamic and interactive day of learning and connection, and hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity, courage, and connection.
The day will feature an engaging and accomplished lineup of speakers, including Donna Orender, Founder and CEO of Generation W; Taj McWilliams-Franklin, former WNBA star and Vice President of Basketball Operations for the new UPSHOT League; Chelsea Reeves, Senior Program Coordinator-Research for Mayo Clinic; and Melanie Lawson, WJXT The Morning Show Anchor, along with other inspiring community leaders.
"Jacksonville is where it all began. It's where the WOW spirit was born" said Donna Orender, founder of Generation W and Generation WOW. "It's been thirteen years, and we continue to believe that every girl should have the opportunity to achieve her full potential."
