From Local Talent to Global Workforce: APEX Partners with Overseas Care Institutions to Secure Placement Pathways

A growing global population and longer lifespans are fueling a significant increase in the demand for caregivers.
Demand for well-trained caregivers is accelerating. In Germany alone, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) reports more than 35,000 nursing and care-worker vacancies in 2023. Filipino professionals are highly sought after, thanks to proficiency in English, cultural adaptability and strong work ethic. APEX's new alliances reflect this global opportunity.
Through purposely-designed memoranda of understanding (MOUs), APEX links its accredited training programmes with international employer networks. These partner institutions span aged-care facilities in Germany, home-care services in Austria and domestic-care programmes in Seoul, creating multiple deployment pathways for graduates.
"A training certificate is only the starting point; what makes a caregiver truly global is employer alignment, cross-culture readiness and legal placement assurance," stated Ivy, Director of Placement & Partnerships at APEX. "We designed our partnerships so that our trainees enter overseas roles not by chance, but by design."
Under the model, trainees undergo domestic preparation, including TESDA-accredited coursework, language and cultural readiness modules, plus hands-on simulated care labs, followed by direct referral to vetted overseas partner institutions. These institutions contribute input to the training curriculum, ensuring graduates meet destination-country expectations before deployment.
"Our partner in Germany helped shape our curriculum for the "abroad track," including language training up to B1 level and workplace integration modules," noted Rusty, APEX's Training Director. This echoes the Global Skills Partnership model between the Philippines and Germany, where dual tracks prepare both home-based and internationally-deployed workers.
Trainees who complete the APEX programme are now eligible for multiple international job offers, backed by partner-agency support for visa processing, relocation logistics and onboarding. The company expects an increase of up to 40 % in overseas placements within the next 18 months.
Early enrolment for the next batch begins January 2026. Scholarship slots are available for eligible candidates from across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. APEX invites those who are interested to attend its upcoming launching/announcement event in March 2026 at Far East Shopping Center, where new global employer affiliations will be announced.
