Tierra Legacy and the Salas family proudly announces the release of their new album The Legacy Continues, a powerful tribute to the vision and artistry of Rudy and Steve Salas, founders of the original Tierra band. The project carries forward the timeless Latin R&B, Jazz, Rock and Fusion sound the Salas brothers pioneered in the 80's, while introducing a fresh new energy.

The album was co-produced by Tierra Legacy band leader David Salas (son of Rudy Salas and longtime co-producer of Tierra) and the legendary Sal Rodriguez, famed drummer and vocalist of the iconic band WAR. The executive producers are New Vista Communications (David Sandoval and Rafael Ventura).

The core of Tierra Legacy includes:

Bobby Navarrette (Original saxophonist for Tierra)

Bobby Loya (Original trumpeter for Tierra)

David Salas (Guitar and Vocals; son of Rudy Salas and co-producer of Tierra music since 1990)

Joey Navarro (Keyboardist and arranger for Tierra since 2006)

Dale Villavicencio (Percussionist for Tierra since 2001)

Chris Trujillo (Drummer for Tierra since 2015)

The band includes an incredible roster of talent including recording artist Rocky Padilla (Bass and Lead Vocals) Ray Carrion (Lead Guitar - formerly of El Chicano), John Burolla (Tenor Sax), Jonathan Lacayo (Lead Vocals), John "JP" Hurtado (Lead Vocals), and George Pandis (Trumpet).

Other features include Eric Mondragon of DW3, Kid Frost, Daphee Salas, David Diaz, Rene Camacho of WAR, Tiki Pasillas and the album is co-mixed by Federico Alvarez

Last Year, Tierra Legacy performed on major stages across North America, including The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Elie Caulkins Theater in Denver, The Tobin Center in San Antonio and El Paso Live in El Paso. Their momentum has continued internationally, most notably with their first-ever performance in Vancouver, Canada, expanding their global reach and reintroducing the iconic East LA sound to new audiences.

The first single from the album, "It's Up To You," has already gained tens of thousands of streams on YouTube and is described by iconic Los Angeles radio personality Mucho Morales as a "guaranteed hit song."
