High-nickel cathode powders are characterized by a high nickel content (≥60%) in formulations like NCM622, NCM811, and NCA, where the specific composition ratios of Ni, Co, and Mn/Al directly affect performance. Key parameters include a high specific capacity ranging from 160-230 mAh/g, tap density between 1.8-2.5 g/cm3 for improved volumetric energy, and particle size distribution (D50) typically between 5-15 μm. These powders exhibit a layered α-NaFeO2 crystal structure (R3̅m space group), a BET surface area of 0.2-1.5 m2/g, and low levels of residual lithium compounds (LiOH, Li2CO3 < 0.3%) and moisture (
