100+ Rescued Beagles Reuniting on October 5th
Attendees at Beagle Bash bring dogs they have adopted from Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland back to spend the day celebrating.
Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland was founded in 2001 and has placed more than 2,600 dogs into their forever homes so far. Their volunteers tirelessly work to save dogs in the DMV region regardless of how much time, effort, or money it takes.
BRSM is 100% volunteer-run, which means that every dollar raised goes directly to rescuing the dogs. There's no better way to celebrate the people who make our work possible than by coming together for a big party: Beagle Bash.

Beagle Bash 2025 is going to be fantastic:
- 200-300+ human attendees and 100+ BRSM alumni.
- Anne Arundel County officials are bringing a citation to celebrate the rescue's 24th year.
- Representatives from Senator Chris Van Hollen's office will be in attendance.
- Adoptable dogs will be there for prospective adopters.
- Entertainment includes: a photobooth, a live DJ, a dog costume contest, and pictures with Snoopy.
- Local businesses have joined as sponsors, including Skate Zone in Crofton, Zachary's Jewelers in Annapolis, Bean Rush Cafe in Crownsville, Sea Dog Pet Boutique in Annapolis, Rise Up Coffee, The Chesapeake Baysox, The Cheesecake Factory in Annapolis, and Glory Days Grill in Edgewater.
BRSM has placed more than 2,600 dogs in their forever homes and benefited countless more. The work they do - and the community they've built - is incredible.

Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland is dedicated to saving beagles and placing them in loving homes. Our beagles come in as strays, from shelters, and as owner surrenders. We do all we can to help every beagle who crosses our path. Some only need current vaccinations, regular meals, and love; but others need extensive vetting, nutritional support, or lifesaving surgery before they are ready to be adopted.
