The story, now available, tells the tale of a ticklish cloud that helps young readers explore friendship, the joy in helping others, and the value of realizing and utilizing their own unique skills and personality.

At the heart of the story is a small cloud with an unusual quirk: when he's tickled, he grows, and his laughter bursts out as a huge rain drops. Little Cloud is content in his world high above the earth until he hears a little girl's song calling for help. Little Cloud discovers a world full of more meaning when he's able to discover his special skill and use it to help the earth. Beyond this, Little Cloud experiences the joy of making friends. "Those around us are so very important", Reynolds explained. "Relationship fills the heart as does helping others. This takes the focus off ourselves resulting in increased joy and hope. Children need this joy that helping can bring especially in the stormiest times in life and the deep lesson of their own value.

The project is also a personal one. Reynolds dedicated the book to her children, RC-Go and Colby-ColCol, describing them as her "greatest gifts and proudest blessings." Her background as a Evox practitioner helping others find joy again and her years of photography informed both the tenderness of the narrative, the beauty of hope, and its underlying message.

Illustrator Karissa Feese brought Reynolds's vision to life with warm, playful art that animates the sky with personality and emotion. "I wanted the art to feel bright, textured, and full of movement to keep children engaged. This project gave me the chance to paint in a more whimsical way, and I hope it brings joy to kids and adults alike."
