Fayetteville, NC - September 18, 2025 - First in Families of North Carolina (FIFNC) Cumberland County will host the 2nd Annual Mister & Miss FIFNC Pageant on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at Balm In Gilead Family Counseling Ministries, 3110 Doc Bennett Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306, and aims to celebrate the talents, confidence, and achievements of individuals living with disabilities.
This community-centered pageant provides a supportive stage for participants to showcase their personalities, skills, and individuality. Building on the success of the inaugural event, the second annual competition promises an even more engaging and inspiring experience for families and community members across Cumberland County.
Highlighting Inclusion and Community Spirit
The Mister & Miss FIFNC Pageant is designed to encourage self-expression and confidence among individuals with disabilities while fostering greater awareness and acceptance within the broader community. Families and friends will gather to celebrate participants as they share their talents and demonstrate that ability matters far more than limitation.
The pageant also serves as a fundraiser for First in Families of North Carolina, a statewide nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Special Emcee: ShaDonna "Mo" McPhaul
This year's pageant will feature ShaDonna "Mo" McPhaul, also known as The Mo You Know, as the event emcee.
