Press release from: Project True

Boca Raton, FL - 9/11/25 - Old Jamestown, Pinnacle Equity, & Butternut, three prominent investment groups, have filed lawsuits against a network of individuals led by Justin Godur, Morris Jaime Godur, and Anna DeFrank, accusing them of participating in a series of multi-million-dollar fraud schemes. The lawsuits, which collectively highlight multiple instances of theft, misrepresentation, and breach of contract, outline an extensive pattern of deceit and financial misconduct involving high-profile investors, shell companies, and misused funds.

The lawsuits reveal a coordinated effort to steal millions from investors under false pretenses. Allegations include the diversion of investor funds for personal luxury items, forged signatures, fake contracts, and even the exploitation of vulnerable elderly individuals. The lawsuits span three separate cases, each detailing significant financial damage caused by the defendants' fraudulent actions.

Lawsuit 1: Old Jamestown vs. Godur & Capital Max
https://MorrisJaimeGodurFraud.com

In the first lawsuit, Old Jamestown accuses Justin Godur and Morris Jaime Godur of orchestrating a $2.3 million financing grab. The Godur duo allegedly misrepresented their ability to secure a $30 million European loan, tricking Old Jamestown and Rigsby into wiring the funds for a loan that did not exist. Despite promises of repayment, the Godurs failed to honor repayment agreements, diverting investor funds for personal luxuries, and leaving $1.9 million unpaid. The defendants' actions are described as securities fraud, with claims that they misled investors into providing funds under false promises. Victims include US Military Veterans.

Lawsuit 2: Pinnacle vs. Godur, DeFrank, and Others

The second lawsuit, filed by Pinnacle Equity II, accuses Justin Godur, Anna DeFrank, and Morris Jaime Godur of engaging in a conspiracy to defraud investors. Allegations include theft, forgery, the creation of fake invoices, and the misappropriation of over $2.5 million. The defendants are said to have siphoned funds through shell companies and diverted money for personal indulgences such as luxury real estate and private jet travel. Additionally, forged signatures and fabricated documents were used to conceal fraudulent activities, further complicating efforts for recovery.

Lawsuit 3: Shoshana vs. Godur, DeFrank, and Others

The third case, filed by Shoshana, exposes an even more elaborate fraud scheme involving Justin Godur, Anna DeFrank, and Morris Jaime Godur. The trio allegedly misappropriated $1.5 million in investor funds intended for a real estate project in Deerfield Beach, diverting assets to insider-controlled entities and using the money for personal luxuries. The lawsuit claims that the defendants exploited elderly investors, falsified pledges, and concealed misappropriated funds through shell companies, engaging in multiple fraudulent acts, including civil theft and conspiracy to obstruct repayment. Victims names are elderly, over 65.

Investor Protection and Legal Recourse

These lawsuits shine a light on the alleged criminal activities of Justin Godur, Morris Jaime Godur, and Anna DeFrank, who, according to the plaintiffs, used deceit and manipulation to defraud investors and avoid financial responsibility. Legal cases prior to this suggest that the defendants' actions may constitute a broader Ponzi scheme, with the defendants (Justin & Anna) starting new companies together, luring multiple investors through fabricated loan offerings where services were not provided, contractors not paid, and employment issues with multiple employees -leading to concerns that they may be using fresh investments to cover prior debts.

The lawsuits seek full restitution for the affected investors, and the plaintiffs are determined to hold the defendants accountable for their actions. Legal teams representing Old Jamestown, Pinnacle, and Shoshana have vowed to continue their efforts in securing justice and recovering misappropriated funds.
