Acclaimed New York-based beauty duo Billy Keohane and Lauren Keohane have officially planted roots in Oklahoma City, bringing decades of combined experience in high-fashion hair and makeup to the Midwest. Billy Keohane is an award-winning hairstylist, global beauty educator, Navy Veteran, and the new Creative Director at Eden Salon in OKC. Alongside him, Lauren Keohane, a celebrated editorial makeup artist whose work has appeared on the cover of ELLE Magazine, will play a leading creative role in The Garden-the couple's newly launched advanced education center for salon professionals.
With a portfolio that includes work with Vogue Magazine, recognition for Pixie of the Year, and leadership at one of NYC's top salons, Billy Keohane brings elite artistry to his new home at Eden Salon, a beauty staple in Oklahoma City for over 40 years.
"I started cutting hair while deployed in Baghdad, where I discovered the power of healing through service for myself and others," says Billy Keohane. "What began as a purpose has become a lifelong passion. Oklahoma City is the right place to grow something meaningful, and I'm excited to offer a more personal, creative salon experience to clients here," Billy Keohane added.
Lauren Keohane, who has been celebrated on stages nationwide, will focus her talents behind the scenes, leading editorial shoots, content production, and special events within The Garden.
"We came to Oklahoma City to power up, not slow down," says Lauren Keohane. "This is where we chose to plant roots, not just to grow professionally, but to start a family and build something lasting. Being centrally located allows us to bring in our friends, collaborators, and colleagues from around the world and create something truly dynamic in a high-end, fashion-forward space. The Garden, co-founded by the Keohanes in partnership with Eden Salon, is a first-of-its-kind educational center that brings together beauty industry innovators and globally recognized hair artists to elevate professional salon training in the Southwest. Designed to support both artistry and advancement, The Garden is a dynamic teaching hub rooted in a mission to foster expertise, spark creativity, and cultivate a collaborative, brand-neutral community for professionals at every stage of their career.

Billy Keohane is an award-winning hairstylist, global beauty educator for Aveda, a division of Estee Lauder, and the new Creative Director at Eden Salon in Oklahoma City. A Navy veteran and combat survivor, Billy began cutting hair in his downtime while deployed in Baghdad with the Seabees. Supported by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation program, he has honed his skills and is one of the most respected voices in the beauty industry.
