Crown Point, IN, September 20, 2025 - Welcome to Crown Point Rotary Club's Annual Blues, Brews & BBQ!
The fest is family friendly and will host some of the Region's best eateries, breweries and blues bands. Doors open on 9/20 at 1:00PM and the event will run until 8:00PM. The event is hosted on the Lake County Fairgrounds in the Industrial Building.
This year's music lineup is:
Derek Caruso & The Blues Fuse
Derek Caruso and the Blues Fuse is an electrifying blues band, led by the soulful Derek Caruso. They seamlessly blend classic blues with contemporary influences, captivating audiences with their emotive performances and virtuoso musicianship. Funky Mojo Daddy (Kenny Kinsey)
"Funky Mojo Daddy" Kenny Kinsey is a dynamic and soulful blues musician known for his infectious energy and groovy performances. With a unique blend of funk and blues, Kenny Kinsey and his band, "Funky Mojo Daddy," create an electrifying atmosphere that gets audiences moving and grooving. Kenny's soulful vocals, coupled with his masterful guitar skills, make each performance a captivating journey through the realms of funk and blues.
A Patch of Blues
A Patch of Blues is a vibrant blues and soul band featuring Fati Jones (vocals), Rebecca Egwuenu (lead guitar), Claudia Easterwood (bass), and Stacy Norris (drums). Formed at the Fernando Jones Blues Camp in Chicago, they blend their city's rich heritage with a unique, urban flair. Acclaimed for performances across the Midwest and at the International Blues Challenge, they've been nominated for Chicago Music Awards in 2023 and 2024, embodying music's power to unite and heal.
