Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha - Briefing and welcome dinner.Our driver and Mountain guide meet you at Kilimanjaro Airport and then drive to your booked hotel in Moshi. The drive takes about an hour and with a little luck you will view the shining snow peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru. After checking in, your guide will give you a short briefing about your booked trip and then check your equipment. You have the rest of the day at leisure. Day 2: Sightseeing tour in Moshi and preparation for the tour
On the second day in Moshi you will be able to relax a little from the long journey, finish Jet Lag, prepare for the upcoming trekking tour and get a little insight into the exciting and rich culture of Tanzania. You will be picked up after breakfast for a half-day sightseeing tour. First experience the hustle and bustle of the local market in Moshi, and a local arts making wood carvings, women weaving and tinga tinga paints, a unique cultural center . Here you have enough time to look at handicrafts from all over Africa. If you are interested, there is also the opportunity to purchase handicrafts. In the afternoon you will be driven back to the hotel after an extensive exploration of the gallery and can relax for the rest of the day. Day 3: First day of Kilimanjaro trek, we depart from hotel in Moshi to Londorossi Gate (2,250 m) and trek to Big Tree Camp (2,780 m) - 2 hours drive and approx. 3 hours hike
In the morning after breakfast we will be driven to the Londorossi Gate. After completing all formalities and a last 15 km drive on a bumpy road, we reach the starting point on the edge of the rainforest. We will enjoy lunch before making our way through the tropical mountain forest. Today's hike is quite short compared to the days ahead and takes about 3 hours. This gives us time to enjoy the lush landscape, which will change dramatically in the course of our hike. Maybe we can even catch a glimpse of the thumbless Colobus monkeys perched in the branches of the trees. Our dinner and our overnight stay await us in the beautiful Big Tree Camp (2,780 m). Day 09: Millenium Camp (3,820m) to Mweka Gate (1,630m) and drive to Arusha - 5 hours hike and 2 hours drive
After a delicious breakfast and a traditional farewell ceremony by our mountain crew, we'll begin our final descent to Mweka Gate. A leisurely 2 to 3 hour walk will take us again through the lush rainforest where the endemic Impatiens Kilimanjari flower grows. Day 10: Drive Arusha to Tarangire National Park / Elephant Paradise and back - approx. 4 hours drive and 6 hours game viewing. In the morning you will be received by your safari guide for a short briefing before you start a 2 - 2 1⁄2 hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famous for its large numbers of elephants and the peculiar baobab trees. The life-giving Tarangire River meanders through the savannah-like park landscape. Many animals gather on the river and allow excellent game viewing. In addition to a large number of elephants, the park is also home to giraffes, bushbuck, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest and much more.

Sightings of predators such as lions, leopards and hyenas are always possible. From the open roof of the jeep we can enjoy the landscape and observe the wildlife.
