SPIELEN UND LERNEN and SPIEL GUT join forces

Freiburg/Ulm - The well-known information portal for pedagogy and education SPIELEN UND LERNEN is entering into a close editorial cooperation with the non-profit association SPIEL GUT e. V. with immediate effect. The aim of the cooperation is to make quality-conscious, child-friendly toys even more visible and to offer parents and educational professionals reliable guidance in the confusing toy market.

SPIEL GUT has been awarding the orange "spiel gut" seal to particularly recommendable toys since 1954. This is based on a comprehensive, independent testing process by interdisciplinary teams of experts and practical tests in families. The seal stands for educational value, durability, sustainability and design with meaning.

"SPIEL GUT and SPIELEN UND LERNEN are united by the common goal of promoting children's holistic development," explains Gernot Körner, publisher and editor-in-chief of SPIELEN UND LERNEN. "We are very pleased about the cooperation, as it enables us to communicate in-depth knowledge about good toys and child-friendly learning in an even more targeted way."

The collaboration will focus on regular articles about criteria, test procedures and current recommendations from the SPIEL GUT jury - supplemented by background reports, interviews and multimedia content such as podcasts. The series kicks off with an in-depth conversation with Ingetraud Palm-Walter, spokesperson for the SPIEL GUT board, about the history and relevance of the seal.
