CeMAT 2008 – Linde Materials Handling Preview
LONDON, 2 April 2008 – The biggest intralogistics trade fair in the world is almost upon us. Linde Material Handling will be presenting its newest developments and innovations, as well as around 60 trucks from its highly diversified product range, in pavilion P32 on the open-air site at CeMAT 2008 from 27 to 31 May 2008 in Hanover. The trade fair display will be based, both in terms of design and content, on the Linde PureMotion concept, with the focus being on ergonomics, the environment and economic efficiency.Among the many innovations being presented will be the Linde H50 to H80 engine-powered trucks, with a 5 to 8-tonne lifting capacity and significantly reduced fuel consumption to ensure good economic efficiency. Numerous improvements in design have made this powerhouse even roomier and more comfortable, as well as increasing the view through the mast by a good 20% Furthermore, powerful engines make sure that the emission values are far below current emission guidelines. An additional model with a lifting capacity of 8 tonnes and a load centre of 1100 mm addresses customers' demand for trucks to carry ever heavier loads. The maintenance intervals for changing the engine oil and hydraulic oil have also doubled.
The new Linde P30C and Linde P50C electric tow tractors with a 3 to 5-tonne towing capacity offer the optimum in comfort with a vibration-damping platform and an easy-to-use steering unit. The high-quality, robust design ensures excellent availability and economic efficiency during use.
Linde Material Handling demonstrates its position as a leader in technology with its three different drive concepts for the future. These include a 39X series IC truck with the world's first hydrogen engine with direct injection and compressor, the Linde P 250 platform truck and tow tractor with a fuel cell and a 39X series IC truck with a starter generator and an automatic start/stop system, known as a smooth/mild hybrid.
