Atlantik Elektronik introduces the SS-69000-001 Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) modular shielded connector from Stewart Connector/ Bel. The Bel SS-69000-001 SPE connector enables the simultaneous transmission of data and power at speeds of up to 1000Base-T1 via Power-over-Data-Line (PoDL), making it ideal for innovative, future-proof building infrastructures.

Its singular pair of twisted wire cables poses a significant advantage over traditional 4-pair Ethernet systems, reducing both cabling complexity and installation cost while at the same time extending reach, essential benefits for a flexible and scalable building design. The PoDL support up to Class 15 allows for all devices such sensors, controllers, lighting systems, and embedded modules to be powered directly via Ethernet, improving installation and energy efficiency significantly.
Bel SS-69000-001 is engineered to provide a reliable performance even in complex and harsh (industrial) environments, wherefore the connector features high-quality materials such as a PBT plastic housing and gold-plated contacts and supports operating temperatures from –20 °C to +60 °C. The robust design complies with the IEC 63171-1 standard for industrial Single Pair Ethernet applications, and its shielded design (NF) allows for enhanced EMI protection.
It also features a horizontal 90° through-hole PCB mount and optionally an integrated light pipe for external LED indicators allowing for visual network feedback directly on the device.
With its space-saving, light weight design and high performance, it is ideally suited to implement future-proof smart building and automation concepts with various applications, such as e.g. Ethernet switches, intelligent lighting, security systems, access control, as well as HVAC controls and sensors.
