Chicago, IL - July 11, 2025 - Kerri Honeywood, a Certified Holistic Doula, Lactation Specialist (CLS), Community Health Worker, and Reiki Practitioner, is celebrating five years of powerful, purpose-driven service through her company Moon Cycle Mama Doula and Wellness LLC. Based in Chicago, Honeywood has dedicated her life to transforming the way families experience pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood-particularly Black and Brown families who have long been underserved in traditional maternal care systems.

For over half a decade, Moon Cycle Mama has been a sacred space offering full-spectrum doula care, holistic postpartum support, and spiritual healing rooted in ancestral wisdom and evidence-based practices. Honeywood's innovative and deeply personal approach blends clinical knowledge, energy healing, and intuitive care. With each session, she offers more than services-she offers a soft landing for mothers navigating some of the most transformational moments of their lives.

"As a single mom of five, I know the emotional, physical, and spiritual demands of motherhood. My mission has always been to hold space for healing, to help women reclaim their strength, and to break generational cycles through love, care, and spiritual connection," says Honeywood.

Honeywood's model of care integrates Reiki energy healing, postpartum wellness consultations, lactation guidance, and family navigation services-making her a one-of-a-kind force in maternal wellness. She's certified in trauma-informed care, Stop the Clot postpartum education, motivational interviewing, safe sleep, and more. Her goal? To empower parents from the inside out.

With 5 years of trusted community presence, Moon Cycle Mama Doula and Wellness has supported a hundred births, postpartum journeys, and spiritual rebirths. Kerri is now expanding her reach through workshops, parent empowerment trainings, and mobile Reiki healing sessions across Chicagoland. Her work is a call to reimagine postpartum healing-not just as recovery, but as rebirth.
