Set in the rugged beauty of West Virginia's Monongahela National Forest in the year 2081, the story follows Avery Lucas, a man trying to shield his family as the world unravels. As society collapses and Christians face rising persecution, Avery battles not only the evil around him-but a war within his own soul. Can he find the strength to believe?

"This isn't just a story about survival," Ramey says. "It's about doubt, redemption, and rediscovering faith when it seems like everything is lost."

Ramey began the project in 2017, armed only with a concept and a tool called the Story Engine. What started as a personal challenge to write one novel quickly evolved into a sweeping six-book series about the endurance of faith in a fallen world.
