The Class Action Community

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Austin, TX - June 26, 2025

Today, the Skool Class Action Community (CAC) announces critical coverage and support for victims joining the groundbreaking video game addiction litigation. This effort is coordinated under California's JCCP No. 5363 and is expanding through arbitration nationwide.

Led by consumer-rights advocate Christopher Svensson, the Skool Class Action Community is providing families affected by compulsive gaming with essential tools: education, legal resources, and community outreach.

CAC plays a key role in keeping victims organized and informed: "We help families keep their place in line and organize documents so they stay ahead of the curve," explains Svensson.

Why CAC is Stepping Up Now:

Numerous lawsuits have accused major gaming companies-including Epic (Fortnite), Roblox, Activision Blizzard, Microsoft, Sony, EA, and others-of intentionally designing addictive gameplay experiences while hiding the risks. CAC is taking proactive steps to guide victims through this complex legal process.

"Gaming addiction isn't just a family issue-it's a systemic one," says Svensson.
"CAC is publishing this content to ensure victims understand their rights, how the compensation system works, and how to engage effectively."

In addition to video game addiction cases, CAC provides:

- Educational content on various legal actions
- Support for claim preparation
- Collective advocacy opportunities

JCCP No. 5363 & Why Mass Tort Matters

On May 7, 2025, the Superior Court of Los Angeles approved the coordination of over 100 video game addiction lawsuits under JCCP No. 5363, presided over by Judge Samantha P. Jessner.

Unlike traditional class actions, this mass tort structure allows for individual case valuation:

- Moderate harm cases: $50,000 to $100,000
- Severe cases: $100,000 to $350,000+
- Additional punitive damages may apply
