TFM Networks has appointed David Heyes as Chief Operating Officer (COO) to manage day-to-day business operations and help deliver continued growth and profitability. Heyes will also take a seat on the company’s executive board.

As COO at the virtual network operator, Heyes will ensure the delivery of robust and resilient network solutions. He will also help develop and maintain stronger relationships with customers, suppliers and channel partners.

Heyes has over 23 years management experience in the retail sector, which is a key market for TFM Networks. His experience with WHSmith and leading supermarket chain Somerfield spans HR and training, marketing, sales force management, logistics, supply chain management and business systems.

This strategic appointment will enable TFM Networks to liberate resources and realise its ambitious growth plans for 2008.
