Cloudification Launches c12n.cloud - A flexible, Open Source-Based Private Cloud Solution

Berlin, May 14, 2025 - The Berlin-based cloud technology company Cloudification has announced the official launch of c12n (https://cloudification.io/c12n-private-cloud/), a modular Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform based entirely on open source technologies such as OpenStack, Kubernetes and Ceph. The platform is aimed at enterprises and public institutions seeking to operate their own secure and scalable sovereign cloud infrastructure without being tied to proprietary vendors and foreign public cloud providers.

c12n.cloud (Cloudification Private Cloud Solution) allows organizations to migrate existing virtualized workloads from legacy environments such as VMware (https://cloudification.io/vmware-alternative/), and run them on a fully open and vendor-independent stack. With the discontinuation of VMware's perpetual licenses and rising costs for commercial virtualization software, c12n provides an attractive and sustainable alternative without any license fees.
