The studio contributed high-quality 3D models to one of the most famous survival games of the previous year

RetroStyle Games, an experienced art outsourcing studio specializing in 2D and 3D game visuals, proved its contribution to Frostpunk 2, the popular title by 11 bit studios. As part of the collaboration, RetroStyle Games provided 18 high-quality 3D assets that support the game's visual identity and world building.

Launched in September 2024, Frostpunk 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed survival city builder Frostpunk. The new game continues to explore themes of societal struggle in a frozen, post-apocalyptic world. RetroStyle Games focused on creating detailed 3D models that match the game's dark and industrial tone.

To mark the release of the project in its official portfolio, RetroStyle Games has published an exclusive behind-the-scenes video. Their Marketing Specialist shares insights into the collaboration with 11 bit studios and highlights the creative and technical approach behind the work. The video illustrates how each design decision-down to the smallest detail-contributes to the emotional weight and atmosphere of the game.

"The video is an opportunity to share with our fans and partners how exactly we worked on the creation of Frostpunk 2. We wanted to highlight the level of cohesiveness and responsibility on the project, and also thank the 11 Bit team for their recognition of our work. This isn't just a video-it's a story of creating this incredible game." Mykola Vynohradov, Marketing Manager at RetroStyle Games

Over a dozen game creators were involved in the Frostpunk 2 project, including developers and designers, who brought their indispensable experience and expertise.

This collaboration is a large-scale production that the RetroStyle Games' team delivered with precision. The studio supports game developers across the globe, offering visual solutions that adapt to a wide range of genres and styles.

Both the project and the new portfolio case are now available on their website https://retrostylegames.com/art-portfolio/3d-art/

There's no magic behind it and no hidden teaching method - it's
