w3logistics AG has successfully completed another project in the frozen food industry. The Dortmund-based software company supported Cuxhavener Kühlhaus GmbH in the modernization of its logistics processes.

The logistics service provider from Cuxhaven has a temperature-controlled loading zone, an open bonded warehouse, a bulk warehouse with 50,000 m³, as well as a 45,000 m³ mobile racking warehouse and supports its customers with a comprehensive range of logistics services.

The company commissioned w3logistics with the replacement of the older warehouse management system in order to position itself for the future and utilize the current state of the art. With the introduction of w3/max, the logistics service provider from Cuxhaven now has a WMS that fulfills these requirements. The multi-client capable software covers all relevant warehouse processes from goods receipt to goods issue to invoicing and integrates all of the customer's interfaces and connections.

The WMS is also used by the "parent company" Gooss Logistic GmbH. The WMS is used here at two warehouse locations, which have a capacity of 45,000 m³ and 15,000 m³. In order to ensure continuous delivery capability, the down times were kept as short as possible when replacing the old system.

In addition, w3logistics is responsible for the maintenance and care of the delivered WMS and thus continues to support the company with the aim of maintaining operational readiness and solving any problems that arise during operation.

"We are very satisfied with the course of the project and the result and can only report positive things about the cooperation with w3logistics. It is an important step in equipping our warehouses for the future," says Stephan Schulz, authorized signatory and logistics manager of Cuxhavener Kühlhaus GmbH and Gooss Logistic GmbH.
