The delegation was welcomed in the stylish SIPERIA, the company's own bistro, with a refreshing welcome drink and initial discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. Ralf Jodl, co-founder and Managing Director of SIP Scootershop, then took the delegation on a personal tour of the company building at the headquarters in Landsberg am Lech, which was expanded in 2020.
The tour offered impressive insights into the various areas of the company: from the development of new products to international customer management and state-of-the-art logistics with a fully automated warehouse and shipping system. The Lions members were particularly interested in the combination of regional roots and global orientation that has characterized the company since it was founded in 1994.
With more than 50,000 items in its range, a globally networked online platform and regular events for the international scooter community, SIP Scootershop has established itself as an integral part of the scene - far beyond the borders of Germany.
Harry Reitmeir, President of the Landsberg Lions Club, thanked all the guests for the open reception and the informative insights: "It is impressive to see how a globally active company has emerged here with passion, innovative spirit and entrepreneurship - and how the location in Landsberg has always remained the focus."
The visit not only offered valuable insights into an extraordinary business model, but also strengthened the exchange between business and society at regional level - in line with the Lions idea.
