Secure Tickets To 50 First Dates: The Musical In London At The Other Palace With Theatre Tickets London

The 2004 Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore romcom, 50 First Dates, is being adapted into a major new stage musical from The Other Josh Cohen creators Steve Rosen and David Rossmer. The production will receive its world premiere on September 14 and run until November 16 at The Other Palace in London.

The musical will be directed and choreographed in London by Casey Nicholaw with Josh St. Clair and Georgina Castle starring in the roles that originated in the movie by Sandler and Barrymore. Rossmer and Rosen have written the book and musical score for the production.

The story of 50 First Dates: The Musical charts the fortunes of Henry and Lucy, a couple who must fall in love over and over. The musical is set against a sunny Hawaiian backdrop as Henry, a charismatic marine vet, falls head-over-heels for Lucy. But there's a rather awkward catch, as Lucy suffers from acute short-term memory loss, believing that every morning, when she wakes up, it is Sunday, October 13.

Determined to win Lucy over, Henry must figure out new, ingenious ways to make Lucy fall for him again and again every morning. The heartwarming love story is packed with comedy, catchy songs, and a poignant message about love and second chances.

George Wing wrote the original movie screenplay, which was directed by Peter Segal.

Nicholaw's creative team will include lighting designer Aideen Malone, set and costume designer Fly Davis, sound designer Adam Fisher, video designer George Reeve, orchestrations and arrangements by Matthew Jackson, Hair and makeup design by Cynthia De La Rosa, and the musical supervisor/director for the production is Richard Beadle.

50 First Dates: The Musical is produced by ATG Productions, Gavin Kalin Productions, and Bad Robot Live, and will play at The Other Palace Theatre from 14 September 2025 to 16 November 2025.

Georgina Castle is currently starring in London at the Savoy Theatre as Regina George in the West End production of Mean Girls The Musical until 8 June 2025.
