Premier Plumbers Donates Box Truck to FK Your Diet to Support Foster Youth After Code Violation Forces Removal of Donation Pod

In a bold act of community support, Premier Plumbers has donated a fully wrapped box truck to FK Your Diet, the beloved Fort Myers restaurant known for helping local foster children through clothing drives, hygiene product collections, extracurricular sponsorships, and partnerships with charities like Lutheran Services.

The donation was inspired by a troubling local news story where FK Your Diet was forced to remove a storage pod from their property - a pod they were using to collect donations for foster youth - after a local realtor reported them for a code violation. What was meant to be a place of generosity became an unexpected target, and Premier Plumbers knew they had to step in.

"We saw the story and were honestly heartbroken. FK Your Diet does so much good in our community, and the idea that red tape could slow that down didn't sit right with us," said Jeffrey Shafer, Business Development Manager at Premier Plumbers. "So we took action. We donated a wrapped box truck to give them the mobility to continue their mission - and to make it even bigger."

The newly donated and professionally wrapped truck, provided courtesy of Premier Plumbers, will now serve as a mobile donation unit, allowing FK Your Diet to collect and distribute items across Southwest Florida. It turns a setback into a new chapter of outreach, enabling them to move freely and reach more families in need.
