DALLAS – The Dallas-based technology law firm of Munck Butrus Carter, P.C., is pleased to announce that attorney Jeff McPhaul has joined the firm’s Corporate Transactions and Securities section.

“Jeff is the kind of attorney clients enjoy working with,” says Larry Mandala, chairman of the firm’s Corporate Transactions and Securities Practice Group. “He takes the time to understand their business and their goals and then develops a solution that works best.”

Mr. McPhaul represents both public and private companies in matters including public offerings and private placements of securities, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, divestitures, entity formations, corporate governance (including Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance), securities law and general commercial transactions.

Mr. McPhaul also has represented clients in NASD arbitrations and disciplinary proceedings, and provides counsel in connection with broker-dealer registration and SEC, NASD and Blue Sky compliance.

Mr. McPhaul earned his law degree, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 2000. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University in 1996.
