Jamie R. Wright, LLC Announces Partnership between OHFA and KiBois Community Action Foundation to Prevent Homelessness for Survivors of Domestic Violence in Pittsburg County
McALESTER Okla. - April 23, 2025 - Jamie R. Wright, LLC today announced the realization of a partnership between the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) and KiBois Community Action Foundation to prevent homelessness. A celebratory groundbreaking ceremony for the building of safe, attainable, and affordable housing in McAlester and Alderson in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, will take place at Lemmer Lees Place, on April 25, 2025, at the Puterbaugh Center, 353 E. Adams Ave, McAlester, Oklahoma 74501, from 11 am - 1 pm.
The innovative home project, a new beginning for survivors of domestic violence, includes two new housing developments to be built in McAlester and Alderson, Oklahoma. The goal is to provide housing for survivors of domestic violence and their children.
