Magical Vacation Planner Welcomes Scott Vecrumba as Vice President of Cruising and Groups

Magical Vacation Planner is thrilled to announce that Scott Vecrumba has joined the MVP family as Vice President of Cruising and Groups. An award-winning cruise executive, Vecrumba brings over 31 years of industry experience and a proven track record of leadership, innovation, and business development.

Scott began his career in the travel industry during his junior year of college when he co-founded The Cruise Desk, Inc. in Bel Air, Maryland. Under his leadership, the agency quickly became one of the region's top travel providers.
In May 1999, he joined Carnival Cruise Lines as a Business Development Manager. Over the next 26 years, he served in multiple roles across various territories, earning a reputation for rapidly building strong business relationships and driving growth. His success led to his promotion to Business Development Director and, most recently, to Key Account Director in January 2024, where he led a team of six BDMs/BDDs and partnered with some of the nation's largest and fastest-growing group travel agencies.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Milligan University, has completed graduate-level studies at East Tennessee State University, and has pursued continuing education through the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also an Accredited Cruise Counselor through CLIA.
Scott is married to his wife of 27 years, LeAnna; and together they have two children: Emily (18) and Nick (16).
