Planned PEThood of Georgia Releases Q1 2025 Impact Report

Over 1,700 pets served as the organization continues to meet community needs despite national veterinary shortages

DULUTH, GA - Planned PEThood of Georgia has released its Q1 2025 Impact Report, celebrating significant milestones in providing affordable veterinary care and lifesaving services to pets and their families across Georgia. Between January and March, the nonprofit served 1,792 pets through its Wellness Clinic, performed 1,244 spay/neuter surgeries, and found loving homes for close to 100 cats and kittens-including working barn cats.

"I am proud of our accomplishments in Q1 2025," said CJ Bentley, CEO of Planned PEThood. " Even in the midst of a national veterinary shortage and rising veterinary costs, Planned PEThood continued to provide affordable veterinary care and assistance to pet families in need. Thank you to our supporters, donors, volunteers and dedicated employees! We could not do this without you."

In addition to its first-quarter success, the organization looks ahead to an exciting second quarter. Community members are invited to attend Planned PEThood's Putt for Paws Golf Tournament on June 24 at The River Club in Suwanee, GA. The organization also plans to host several Community Outreach events and launch new prenatal kitten care classes this spring.
