Wowza today announced that Jeff Rabkin, its co-founder and Director of Great Ideas, recently accepted a seat on Illusion Theater’s Board of Directors.

Rabkin brings nearly 20 years of strategic and creative experience to the board of directors. In addition, for the past three seasons, Wowza has provided Illusion Theater with creative services and brand consulting.

“Illusion Theater has done such great work over the years. They are always fresh and socially relevant,” said Jeff Rabkin, Director of Great Ideas, Wowza. “I’m excited to be a part of the show.”

At Wowza, Rabkin is responsible for conceptualizing word of mouth marketing strategies, brand consulting, copywriting and new business development. Rabkin has received numerous awards from professional organizations, including the Clios, The One Club, Retail Advertising Council (RAC) and the Minneapolis Show. He is also a twice-honored recipient from the Forecast Public Artworks. Actively involved in the community, Rabkin has served on committees for the Minneapolis Community Development Agency and the Neighborhood Revitalization Program. For the past nine years Rabkin has also served on the faculty at Brainco: Minneapolis School of Advertising, Design and Interactive Studies.

Reflecting a variety of cultural perspectives, Illusion Theater develops and produces new works that give voice to multiple artists. Having commissioned over 250 original main stage plays, Illusion’s works have been staged by more than 100 theaters across the United States, including the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, the Alliance Theater in Atlanta, the Goodman Theater in Chicago and the Manhattan Theater Club.
