Independent filmmaker and director Joe Boi has announced the release of his new book, Reel Heroes , a cinematic deep dive into the traits that define movie heroes-and how everyday people can apply those same traits to real life.

Blending his experience in film and passion for storytelling, Boi analyzes beloved characters from iconic films in the horror, sci-fi, fantasy, action, and comedy genres. Through character studies and cultural commentary, Reel Heroes explores how audiences can draw inspiration and strength from cinematic legends to become the heroes of their own stories.
